nFuse and Cloudflare Partnership
Do you want to know how it all began? Well…
nFuse was already using Cloudflare CDN and WAF from time to time. In fact, we were already familiar with the Cloudflare portfolio before we became partners, to be fair. So… How did this relationship sprout, and what can nFuse offer? Keep on reading to find out.
Cloudflare Reach-out to…Cronos
As you might know, nFuse is a company, a competence centre, as we like to call it, that is part of the Xplore Group. Xplore Group is a cluster of 50+ competence centres, which in turn offer their very specific expertise in their own field. Mainly development, consultancy and so forth. Xplore Group, on its side, is part of the Cronos Group.
nFuse is one of the few, if not the only, within the Xplore Group that hardly offers any consultancy. Instead, we partner with our customers in a fixed-price model. We strongly believe in partnerships with our customers.
We think it needs no further explanation of what Cronos does. But this is where it gets interesting…
Cloudflare is a global company and requires (local) partners to be able to reach customers in a better and more sustainable way. Cloudflare contacted Cronos to see if competence centres were willing to start aligning their offerings.
For very obvious reasons, we were eager to say yes. But we do it the nFuse way. We have to co-create the offerings to suit our way of working and our way of involvement with our customers/partners. We don’t take anything for granted. A solution needs to actually solve issues or problems for our partners.

nFuse does not offer the complete range of Cloudflares products (yet), but an often requested subset of these products. nFuse mainly focuses on the application performance for obvious reasons, and we believe the additional products of Cloudflare are a strong game-changer. Our team is Cloudflare certified and can assist with the setting up, configuring and managing the Content Delivery Network and Web Application Firewall settings as a Cloudflare managed service. This managed service can be seen as a separate agreement between nFuse and our partners, but, can also be a part of our normal offering.
Since we have monthly service meetings with our partners anyway, the low-hanging fruits are looked at every month. Performance and Security are our strong points, so the obvious choice is to make our partners aware of the fact that we are connected to the vast Cloudflare network as well. This is one way to open up the conversation. On the other hand, new requests from outside of our regular partners also find their way to our service offering thanks to our strong bonds with Cloudflare itself or via Cronos.
