Stageopdracht: Implementing Continuous Security Measures in a CI/CD Pipeline
Samenvatting: De opdracht heeft als doel de stagiair vertrouwd te maken met het integreren van beveiligingspraktijken in ontwikkelings- en implementatiecycli, het verbeteren van de beveiligingshouding van een CI/CD-pijplijn, en het verbeteren van een applicatie voor een nieuwe klant. De stagiair is verantwoordelijk voor het analyseren van de huidige omgeving, het prioriteren van beveiligingskwetsbaarheden via risicobeoordeling, het selecteren van geschikte DevSecOps-tools, het automatiseren van beveiligingscontroles in de pijplijn, het implementeren van Infrastructure as Code (IaC) beveiligingsmaatregelen, het creëren van uitgebreide documentatie, het voorstellen van continue verbeteringen in DevSecOps-processen en het vergelijken van verschillende beveiligingstools binnen de context van een DevSecOps-pijplijn.
Doelstelling: Het primaire doel van deze opdracht is om de stagiair bloot te stellen aan realistische scenario’s van het integreren van beveiligingspraktijken in de ontwikkelings- en implementatiecyclus. De stagiair zal praktische ervaring opdoen met het verbeteren van de beveiligingshouding van een CI/CD-pijplijn en een real-life applicatie.

Intern assignment: Implementing Continuous Security Measures in a CI/CD Pipeline
Two internship positions available
Summary: The assignment aims to familiarise the intern with integrating security practices into development and deployment lifecycles, enhancing a CI/CD pipeline’s security posture, and improving an application for a new client. The intern is responsible for analysing the current environment, prioritising security vulnerabilities through risk assessment, selecting appropriate DevSecOps tools, automating security checks in the pipeline, implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) security measures, creating comprehensive documentation, proposing continuous improvements in DevSecOps processes and comparing various security tools within the context of a DevSecOps pipeline.
Objective: The primary objective of this assignment is to expose the intern to real-world scenarios of integrating security practices into the development and deployment lifecycle. The intern will gain hands-on experience in enhancing the security posture of a CI/CD pipeline and a real-life application.

Stageopdracht: DevOps Pipeline
De student heeft een rol als Solutions Architect. Hij of zij moet een plan uitwerken en implementeren voor het opzetten van een nieuwe en een bestaande applicatie binnen AWS.
De nieuwe applicatie is nog in ontwikkeling en moet nog uitgerold worden naar de nieuwe infrastructuur op AWS. De bestaande applicatie moet gemigreerd worden naar dezelfde AWS-omgeving

Intern assignment: DevOps Pipeline
The student has a role as Solutions Architect. They have to develop and implement a plan for setting up a new and an existing application within AWS.
The new application is still in development and needs to be deployed to the new infrastructure on AWS. The existing application needs to be migrated to the same AWS environment.

Stageopdracht: Multicloud PaaS Solutions
De student wordt verantwoordelijk gesteld voor de migratie van een (fictieve) bestaande on-premise e-commerce oplossing naar een cloud provider. De migratie van de omgeving moet gebeuren via Build-, Data-, en Code-Pipelines om een migratie zo geautomatiseerd mogelijk te kunnen doorvoeren, zonder verlies van data.

Intern assignment: Multicloud PaaS Solutions
The student will be responsible for migrating a (fictitious) existing on-premise e-commerce solution to a cloud provider. The migration of the environment should be done via Build-, Data-, and Code-Pipelines to migrate in the most automated way possible without loss of data.

Stageopdracht: On-demand Gitlab Runners on Kubernetes
De student heeft een rol als Solutions Architect. Hij of zij moet een plan uitwerken en implementeren voor het opzetten van een nieuwe GitLab met bijbehorende GitLab-runners. De GitLab applicatie mag op een EC2 of Azure instantie draaien en moet redundant opgezet worden. De GitLab-runners worden on-demand aangemaakt in een Kubernetes-cluster. Deze setup moet ook gemonitord worden.

The student has a role as Solutions Architect. They must develop and implement a plan for setting up a new GitLab with associated GitLab-runners. The GitLab application may run on an EC2 or Azure instance and must be set up redundantly. The GitLab runners are created on-demand in a Kubernetes cluster. This setup should also be monitored.

Stageopdracht: Service Level Management in een high agile omgeving
De student heeft een rol als Service Level Manager. Hij of zij moet een plan uitwerken en implementeren voor het precies, correct en nauwgezet documenteren en vertalen van de klantbehoeftes in een leesbaar Service Level Rapport (SLR). De vereiste KPI’s en KSF’s moeten verwerkt zijn, en in overleg met de klant afgestemd worden. De klanten kunnen in de snel wisselende e-commerce sector actief zijn, of werken met maatwerk-applicaties.

Intern assignment: Service Level Management in a High Agile Environment
The student has a role as Service Level Manager. They must develop and implement a plan for correctly, accurately and meticulously documenting and translating customer requirements into a readable Service Level Report (SLR). The required KPIs and CSFs should be incorporated and coordinated in consultation with the customer. Clients may operate in the fast-changing e-commerce sector or work with custom-built applications.
